These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Tech Pot (“we”, “us”), the developer of TrunkTV Smart M3U IPTV Player (the “Application”). By using the Application you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Player Only
The Application is a media player. It does not provide, host or distribute any content, or grant access to any media streams. To watch anything, you must add your own playlists.
2. Your Responsibility for Content
You are solely responsible for any content you add to the Application. By using it, you affirm that you are the rightful owner or have obtained the necessary licenses or permissions for all content you add; that you will comply with all applicable local, national and international laws regarding media use and distribution; and that you will not use the Application for the unauthorized streaming or downloading of copyrighted material, or to access or distribute content that otherwise infringes the rights of others.
3. No Endorsement of Third-Party Content
We do not host, provide or control any third-party content. Inclusion of a playlist in the Application does not constitute endorsement of its contents, and we have no relationship with the providers of any content you add.
4. License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the Application on devices you own or control. You may not redistribute, resell, modify, reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Application.
5. No Warranty
THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, compatibility with any specific content or service, or that the Application will meet your requirements. Nothing in this section limits any statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived.
6. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APPLICATION, INCLUDING DAMAGES ARISING FROM CONTENT YOU ACCESS THROUGH IT. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
7. Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to reimburse us for any costs or damages arising from claims related to content you add to the Application. This obligation survives termination of these Terms or your use of the Application. Nothing in this section limits any statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived.
8. Time Limit for Claims
Any legal claim against us related to your use of the Application must be brought within one year of the event giving rise to the claim. This time limit does not apply where a longer period is required by mandatory law in your country of residence.
9. Copyright Notices
The Application does not host or store any media content. If you believe that content accessed through the Application infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, contact support@trunktv.app with a description of the claimed infringing material, the location where it appears, and your contact information. We will cooperate in good faith with rightsholders and act in accordance with applicable law.
10. Privacy
Your use of the Application is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use and protect your data.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Application at any time. We may suspend or terminate your license to use it if you materially breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including those on your responsibility for content, limitation of liability and indemnification — continue to apply.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice, for example within the Application. Your continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts remain in effect.
