This privacy policy applies to the Trunk: TV File Manager app (hereby referred to as “Application”) or its affiliates for TV that was created by Tech Pot (hereby referred to as “Service Provider”). This service is intended for use “AS IS”.
Information We Collect
The Application does not collect, store or transmit any personal information. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it does not use an internet connection. The files it shows stay on your TV.
How the Application Uses Your TV
Storage (all files access): to list and open the files on your TV and, only when you confirm, to move files you select in Large files to a Recycle Bin folder on the same drive. Items stay in the Recycle Bin until you restore them, delete them, or empty the bin - nothing is deleted automatically. Files are never uploaded.
Third Parties
The Application does not include third-party analytics or advertising services and does not share information with third parties. Your TV’s operating system and app store have their own privacy policies.
Data Stored on Your TV
The Application keeps small preferences on your TV, such as whether you have seen the welcome screen. Uninstalling the Application removes them. Files you delete are kept in a hidden Recycle Bin folder (.trunk_trash) on the drive they came from. That folder is part of your storage, so it stays after uninstalling; empty the Recycle Bin first if you want the space back. You can withdraw storage access at any time in your TV’s system settings.
Disclosure of Information
Because the Application does not collect personal information, there is nothing to disclose. The Service Provider may act only as required by law.
Children
The Application does not knowingly collect data from, or market to, anyone under the age of 13 - in fact, it does not collect data from anyone at all, regardless of age. There is no account, no form and no internet connection, so there is no way for a child, or anyone else, to submit personal information to the Application.
Security
The Application does not send your files or personal information anywhere, so they stay on your TV. It can access files only through the permission you grant, which you can revoke in your TV’s system settings.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Application after an update means you accept the updated policy.
