1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy applies to TrunkTV Smart M3U IPTV Player (the “Application”) created by Tech Pot. The Application is provided “AS IS”.
2. What We Collect
The Application does not collect, transmit or share any personal information with Tech Pot or any third party. There are no user accounts, no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no tracking of any kind.
The Application connects to the internet only to fetch the playlist, server, TV guide (EPG) and stream addresses that you provide. Requests go directly from your device to the servers you specify. If you add a server, the connection details you enter are sent to that server, and only to that server, to connect. Like any internet request, these connections reveal your IP address to those servers.
3. What Is Stored on Your Device
The Application stores the following data locally on your device only:
- The playlist, EPG and server details you enter, including any connection details.
- Your favourite channels and recently watched list.
- App settings, including the PIN lock (stored only as a hash). This data never leaves your device. Uninstalling the Application removes it.
4. Third Parties
The Application contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. Your IPTV provider’s servers receive connection requests when you load a playlist or play a stream; their own privacy policies apply to those connections.
5. Children
The Application does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13.
6. Security
Connection details and the PIN hash are kept in the device’s secure storage and are never transmitted to us.
7. Changes
This policy may be updated. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
